First up
Doorstep: your morning paper, written for you and your town.
A short daily edition with the news you care about, what's happening around Olympia, and nothing you don't. Working name.
Local first
Council decisions, road closures, new businesses and this week's events, in plain English.
Made for you, every morning
No two papers are the same. Every morning Doorstep writes one edition just for you: the stories you follow, your neighborhood, your weather, and a quick note on why each story matters to you. Tell it what you care about once, and it gets sharper every week.
Five minutes, then done
A finished paper, not an endless feed. Read it with your coffee and get on with your day.
Founder
Jeff Taylor
Jeff is a U.S. Army veteran who served as a Forward Observer with the 75th Ranger Regiment and the 173rd Airborne Brigade. After the Army he led a custom millwork shop, estimated projects, and machined parts for aerospace, then turned to software.
He started Evergreen Systems to build the kind of software he wanted for his own family and his own town: simple, dependable, and genuinely useful.
